A group of former colleagues and friends of Max Reid have agreed on a joint venture with the Canadian Naval Association in North Bay to set up an annual bursary for the Sea Cadets of RCSCC "Brilliant" to be awarded following an essay competition on Canada's Maritime Heritage.

To donate to the memorial project, contact Robert Craig. Contributions can be made bywriting a cheque out to "The Capt.(N) Max Reid Memorial Trust Fund" and sending it to:
